Airmen prepare a C-5 Galaxy for cargo, April 2, 2011, at Joint Base Andrews, Md. Ground crews are able to load and off-load the C-5 simultaneously at the front and rear cargo openings, reducing cargo transfer times. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Perry Aston/Released)

Photographer's Narrative

The flight line is always busy and I enjoy walking up and down the flight line watching Airmen accomplish the mission. The C-5 is a massive plane that dwarfs all the jets on the ramp and when I saw it with both ends of the aircraft open, I ran over to take this shot of a loadmaster preparing the C-5 for cargo. You can see just how huge this aircraft is.
