Photographers Narrative

It may seem like an ordinary task to visit the dentist, but not for a military working dog. The dogs must undergo anesthesia for dental work, and canines do not always react well to it.  Roy was under constant watch from both his handler and Technical Sergeant Jeremy Fowler (pictured).  Shortly after this picture was taken, Roy was given an Ambu bag so that Fowler could manually breathe for Roy.
