I took this photo before we left our forward operating base for a mission and it wasn't until toward the end of my deployment that I revisited this shot.  I remember watching as the door to our mine resistant ambush protected vehicle closed and the uncertainty of what lies in the moments ahead.  To me, it represented the final moment of reflection that many Airmen, Soldiers, Marines, and Sailors experience before going into harm's way.
