Photographers Narrative

Sometimes C-17 crews must work with what is available, and that is exactly what Captain Tyrus Scott and his crew did.  While performing an aeromedical evacuation mission to Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Scott was told that there would also be pallets of cargo that needed to be delivered to Djibouti.  Djibouti's airfield did not have the proper equipment to off-load the cargo, so the team used a forklift at the end of the bay to catch the pallets as they came off the plane.
