Photographer's Narrative

Photographing the B-2 Stealth Bomber and the Airmen who maintain her was always fun but challenging. There are several aspects of the plane that can’t be photographed for classification purposes. As a photojournalist, I had to push myself to be as creative as possible while still capturing the unique aspects of the bomber mission. I always enjoyed how mean the B-2 looked when photographed from the side. When I captured this image I aimed to show the comparison of the larger than life aircraft to its crew chiefs who were recovering it.
