A little about Me

Staff Sgt. Cable joined the Montana Air National Guard in 2011 as a Security Forces Defender. He provides security for over 1,000 personnel and $450 million in aircraft and equipment at the Great Falls International Airport in Great Falls, Montana. He attended his very first Air Force Trials in 2017, earning a coveted slot through pure athleticism and charisma. Matt hopes to go farther with adaptive sports, eyeing the upcoming Invictus Games as a personal goal. He excels at CrossFit, recently deadlifting 635 pounds during a competition put on by a fitness center in Montana. Matt has a re-newed focus following his cancer diagnosis saying, “For what it’s worth, it’s never too late, or in my case too early, to be whoever you want to be. You can change or stay the same. I choose to be better.”
