A little about Me
Master Sgt. Jarod Jones joined the Air Force in 1999 as an Aircraft Metals technician, where he was referred to as an “Invaluable Airman,” earning accolades throughout his career. In 2012, He was recognized by the United States Marines for his efforts in completing arduous repairs on AH-1W Super-cobras in support of Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 773. Sgt. Jones is currently stationed in Hawaii, working as the Programs and Resources Section Chief, responsible for management of personnel and equipment, overseeing over $250M in contract requirements. He had difficulty when he was initially enrolled in the Air Force Wounded Warrior Program, approaching everything with a little bit of skepticism. Now he says, “This program helped me to trust people again. It helped me relearn how to be part of a team and I feel proud to be part of something so big.”
