A little about Me

Major Teresa Sellers enlisted in the Air Force September 1992 as a Medical Laboratory Journeyman and then commissioned in the Air Force 2003 as a clinical nurse after earning her Master’s Degree in Nursing Science. She currently serves as nurse anesthetists at surgical Operations JB Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. Teresa says that AFW2 has helped her immensely, “Teaching me that I can do things I might not have thought I could do. It has given me a new sense of camaraderie. I have met so many new people and made new friends.” She says she is truly humbled and honored to represent the Air Force at Warrior Games and tells future athletes, “Set goals and strive to achieve them. If you don’t know how, seek help. Sometimes that first step is the most difficult, but just take it.” Teresa attributes her family and friends with much of her success as they constantly challenge her to stay focused, encourage her when she gets discouraged and inspire her to do her best and never give up.
