Senior Airman Matthew Bruch is an aerial combat photojournalist assigned to the 1st Combat Camera Squadron, Joint Base Charleston, SC. The 1st Combat Camera Squadron is Airman Bruch’s first assignment and has allowed him to cover multiple exercises and real world operations. Most recently, he documented resupply missions to Iraqi Security Forces, and the first air strikes against ISIL in Syria.

Staff Sergeant Evelyn Chavez is a photojournalist assigned to the 31st Fighter Wing, Aviano Air Base, Italy. Sergeant Chavez has traveled from Asia to the States and from Europe to the desert searching for the perfect images and words to translate her experiences. She says, “My photographs and stories give me the opportunity to show the world what my brothers- and sisters-in-arms do for our country.”

Staff Sergeant Sheila deVera is an aerial photojournalist assigned to the 673d Air Base Wing, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK. Sergeant deVera has traveled the world, to include deployments to Afghanistan and elsewhere in Southwest Asia. She has also supported PACAF/PACOM exercises Talisman Saber, Ulchi-Freedom Guardian, Cope Taufan, and Cobra Gold.
