One of the biggest components of war is the ability to respond and project equipment and personnel downrange. That’s where logistics Airmen come into play. They gather the appropriate equipment, put it on a pallet, and make sure it’s secured before it gets loaded onto the awaiting plane. During an exercise, I needed to showcase the base’s ability to do all that correctly and in a timely manner. I captured this picture as an Airman laid out the cargo net he was about to use for a pallet.
