Refueling these F-15E Strike Eagles after they conducted the first airstrikes in Syria was a moment of relief and satisfaction. At the time this photo was taken, we knew the air strikes were successful. The sun was coming up and everyone was returning to base safely. It was a beautiful morning that I will never forget.
