Photographer's Narrative

While in Korea I had the opportunity to shoot with my supervisor, and when I took this shot she was helping me with settings and composition. Although she never told me to get this close to the German Shepherd, I took her advice and tried to get a different angle. Working alongside these dogs and their handlers on numerous patrols brought my appreciation for their training, hard work, and courage to a whole new level.
