Photographer's Narrative

Marines are known for their discipline, skill and ability to successfully defend the freedoms of their country by air, land and sea. In this instance at Exercise Talisman Saber in Australia, I wanted to capture that legacy. There were a lot of scenarios happening around me, but when I saw this Marine “in the zone,” I redirected my focus on him and shot it in a low angle to reflect the intensity of a U.S. Marine.
