Photographer's Narrative

This was my first assignment after completing training at the 1st Combat Camera Squadron. It was for an annual campaign called Veterans in Blue. We had to find two U. S. Air Force Veterans and do a photo shoot and feature article about them. It was my pleasure to photograph Air Force Veteran Sgt. Albert Bud Porter (Sep.), a former Army Air Corps ball turret gunner. Mr. Porter was a great subject and it was a pleasure to sit down and listen to him talk about how the military was back then and how it has progressed today.
