Photographer's Narrative

The training mission had concluded, and a broadcaster and I were standing around waiting for our ride to pick us up. While we were waiting I realized there was a nice light coming over the horizon from the nearby town. All these guys were standing, or sitting, next to a HUMVEE conveniently placed between me and the light. This allowed me to break out my tripod, set-it up and get the image, right before they noticed what I was doing and began posing.
