Photographer's Narrative

In this photo, I showed up early to a nighttime CV-22 Osprey flight at the 8th Special Operations Squadron. The flight engineer was going through pre-flight checks, and I took that as an opportunity to take photos before all ambient light was gone and I would be limited to NVGs for the rest of the night. Fortunately, he walked out from the squadron and onto the flight line as they were checking the tilt-rotors on the CV, setting up an interesting viewpoint of a flight engineer before takeoff on one of the most unique airframes.
