A little about Me

Q. What are your short and long term goals (personal, professional, recovery-related, etc.)?
A. I am currently studying biology at the University of Alaska Anchorage and hope to attend veterinary school. My goal is to be able to provide low cost medical care to the elderly and disabled.

Q. What does it mean to you to represent the Air force at Warrior Games?
A. I am proud to be able to represent the Air Force again in a positive manner and be a positive influence for others.

Q. What is the significance of sports/competition? How has it helped you? What does it mean to you?
A. Sports and competition is significant to me because I have been a competitive athlete my whole life. After I got hurt that part of my life was absent and I felt like a piece of me was missing. Being able to compete again has helped me regain my confidence.

Q. What advice do you have for future athletes?
A. My advice to future athletes would be to always be willing to try new things. You never know what sport you will fall in love with.

Q. Who has supported you in your training? How?
A. There have been coaches in Alaska who have volunteered their time and patience to work with me and get me competition ready.
