A little about Me

Q. What are your short and long term goals (personal, professional, recovery-related, etc.)?
A. Short term is to get into best shape possible both for my health and to be competitive in Warrior Games. Long term goals is to do everything that is in my control to maintain where I’m at and to avoid getting any worse than where I am.

Q. What does it mean to you to represent the Air force at Warrior Games?
A. That’s a tough question…I’m still processing it. I’m really grateful for the chance to wear the AF blue again.

Q. What is the significance of sports/competition? How has it helped you? What does it mean to you?
A. It proves to myself that I’m a lot stronger than I ever thought I could be.

Q. How has adaptive reconditioning and sports helped in your transition and recovery? What adaptive reconditioning activities do you participate in?
A. It keeps me active and gives me a sense of accomplishment. Even when my body doesn’t want to listen it keeps me strong.

Q. Who has supported you in your training? How?
A. My mom has been there to watch my daughter while I’m away competing and training which means so much to me. My daughter was never really athletic, but since I started doing this she now wants to join track, cross-country, volleyball and maybe even soccer.
