A little about Me
Q. What are your short and long term goals (personal, professional, recovery-related, etc.)?
A. Long term goal is peace; not only in my own life but own head. Short term is getting outside my comfort zone and widen my internal circle for relationships.
Q. What does it mean to you to represent the Air force at Warrior Games?
A. Big BLUE! It’s amazing. It’s kind of surreal being around these other warriors and representing the Air Force. It’s a blessing.
Q. What is the significance of sports/competition? How has it helped you? What does it mean to you?
A. Gives me that new drive. I started to lose it in my everyday life. It’s not me competing against other people it’s me competing against myself.
Q. How has adaptive reconditioning and sports helped in your transition and recovery? What adaptive reconditioning activities do you participate in?
A. It has been pivotal in my recovery. It caused me to have a new purpose, find something that replaces bad memories with good ones.
Q. Who has supported you in your training? How?
A. Air Force Wounded Warrior and Vincent Cavazos my buddy from the team. Rebuilding relationships.
