A little about Me

Q. What are your short and long term goals (personal, professional, recovery-related, etc.)?
A. Short term – get back in to physical shape—similar to active duty Long Term – Finish college, Computer Science

Q. How did your Service’s Wounded Warrior Program (Warrior Transition Unit, Wounded Warrior Regiment, Other Service Wounded Warrior Unit) assigned or previously assigned to enhance your recovery?
A. This program got me back into the social aspect of life. Gave me a more positive attitude.

Q. What is the significance of sports/competition? How has it helped you? What does it mean to you?
A. I played sports all my life—it’s a natural thing to me. It helped me to get my mental game back on point and get out and do things.

Q. What advice do you have for future athletes?
A. Give it your best—give it 110% percent. Define your personal best and beat it next time.

Q. How has adaptive reconditioning and sports helped in your transition and recovery? What adaptive reconditioning activities do you participate in?
A. Put me back into physical shape and helped me realize I can do things I haven’t done before. I swim at the local high school and I throw the shot put.
