A little about Me

Q. What are your short and long term goals (personal, professional, recovery-related, etc.)?
A. Right now the only goals I’m worried about are training for Warrior Games.

Q. Any words of inspiration/quote you would like to share with other wounded, ill or injured service members?
A. "What we play is life.” –Louis Armstrong

Q. What is the significance of sports/competition? How has it helped you? What does it mean to you?
A. It gives me hope that I can still achieve in my life even when I lose. When I lose I work to strive to carry on despite that loss.

Q. What advice do you have for future athletes?
A. You can do anything you set your mind too, no matter what you think. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something if you want something, go get it.

Q. What does it mean to you to represent the Air force at Warrior Games?
A. It’s a huge honor because I didn’t think I was the right candidate for AFW2, but now I’ve learned some skills that make me feel more like part of the team. I never saw myself as a “Wounded Warrior.”
