A little about Me

Q. How has adaptive reconditioning and sports helped in your transition and recovery? What adaptive reconditioning activities do you participate in?
A. I used to be a runner and being able to feel that there is an alternative to get back out and be active again helps. In addition to Air Force Wounded Warrior sports I lift and walk.

Q. What does it mean to you to represent the Air force at Warrior Games?
A. Humbled by the selection and the experience. I really want to represent the Air Force very well.

Q. What is the significance of sports/competition? How has it helped you? What does it mean to you?
A. It gives me that competitive edge and I have the ability to be active again.

Q. Any words of inspiration/quote you would like to share with other wounded, ill or injured service members?
A. “If you think can, YOU CAN… If you think you can’t, YOU CAN’T”

Q. Who has supported you in your training? How?
A. In addition to my family, the AFW2 Staff is awesome and is my main support at this time. They are great in supporting and pushing me to and through my limitations.
