Photographers Narrative
During my time at Airman Leadership School, the instructors quickly found out I was a photographer and I earned my additional duty of documenting our class going through our daily activities. The knowledge we all took away from the class was invaluable and reinvigorated the military ethos of striving for excellence and maintaining the highest of standards. Most days before class dismissed, we would form up, and the drill team would bring down the flag for the day. I only decided to document this event once because I felt it was more important to participate with my classmates than to stand off to the side. After looking through my images, the body language and the light pouring over the flag best represented what we were there to do at that time.
