This photo was taken during a Thunderbirds “Fallen Warrior” tribute performance at Patrick Air Force Base, Florida. This couple’s son was deployed to Afghanistan and paid the ultimate sacrifice to his country. To honor him, his name was inscribed on the wheel well of a Thunderbirds F-16. I was able to capture how important it was to have their son honored in this way.
